Bailee Is Happy!

Today, is the first day in a week that my horse, Bailee, has actually been happy! Well, I suppose she was pretty happy on Monday, but other than that. It is pretty miserableness to have a crabby horse. Especially when the crabby horse is a naughty 4 year old who weighs 930 pounds and when she is crabby - you better watch out because she dosen't feel bad kicking or biting you. Yup, that's right. The funny thing is though, is that when she is NOT crabby, she is a little princess. Perfect, a dream, a cuddle bug (yes, really!) and just an overall sweetie! The reason for her crabs? The weather. It has been rainy out all week, not to mention cold out, and today is the first day the sun has shined! Which doesn't only make for a happy Bailee, it also makes for a happy Reyna. I'm super excited to get out and take some pictures! I have a photography assignment that I have to complete - actually two photography assignments, which isn't to hard, but I also have Geometry and Geography, which is icky. Definitely icky. *sigh* Oh well, that's high school for you! Never ending school work!

This afternoon my brother and I are working at the 4-H Halloween Carnival and Haunted House, actually, I'm working at the Carnival hopefully doing the Crazy Hair booth while he works at the Haunted house. Last year I worked at the Haunted House and screamed so much to scare the people, for like 3 hours pretty much nonstop, that I ended up with a terribly sour throat and could hardly talk!! However, I would still love to do the Haunted House this year again, but I can't do both - and doing crazy hair for the kids is pretty fun :)

Win A Cupcake Book!

From another blog, I found out about this great giveaway to win a book full of cute ways to decorate cupcakes! How fun! Head on over to take a peak!

Baby Kitties So Cute!

On the way to 4-H Monday night, we were driving down the driveway when we saw two little kitties in the woods along the driveaway. We stopped, but they ran away into the woods. Later, when we came home from 4-H, they were still sitting in the driveaway! So, we stopped again and Adam (my brother) and I hopped out of the car and called them, they came running up to us! How sweet :)

So, we now have a new edition to the family! We weren't sure if maybe their Mom lost them and was looking for them, so yesterday we put the kitties in their kennel were we found them for a few hours, but their momma still didn't claim them. Today, we decided to try one more time, so I brought them down and was going to put their kennel with them in the meadow this time rather than closer to the woods. However, I didn't get to far because they came chasing after me whenever I tried to leave! Looks like these little sweeties are here for good :)

I'm thinking about naming the little girl in the first picture (the calico) Trixie, but we need to come up with a name for the caramel and white kitten! Any suggestions?

Nummy?

Picture from Amy Atlas

I am our 4-H club secretary and one of the jobs of being the secretary is to create the club scrapbook to be entered in the county fair. In the scrapbook are loads of pictures of activities that our club has participated in and pictures of the kids doing them. Well, one of the "fun" things we did this year was to make cupcakes. We got 3 absolutely adorable closeup pictures of 3 different kids frosting them. I had a piece of very cute scrapbook paper that was of cupcake frosting with sprinkles on it. It didn't take me long to figure out what I was going to make out of this page. I put the three pictures on the page kind of crooked with the first one being in the farther up-right corner, the next one being in the middle left corner, and the last in the bottom right corner. In between the pictures, I put the words: "Yummy" next to the first picture, "Nummy" next to the second picture and "Cupcakes!" next to the last picture. The page turned out adorable! In fact, it was one of my favorites in the book.

Now, one of the other duties of the club secretary is to create a book with a report of all of the meeting minutes throughout the year, along with other records. One of the last thing that needs to be included in the Secretary's Book are pictures throughout the year. Usually I just put a bunch of pictures into Microsoft, printed them, and stuck them in the book (I've been secretary for a few years now) however, this year I decided to be eco friendly (plus it was cuter!) and take out a few of the pages from the club scrapbook and use those instead. One of the pages I took out was the cupcake page that I talked about before. I was showing the secretary's book to my friend Amanda at the club meeting on Monday night, and when we got to the cupcake page she thought it was cute, but then she was like "Nummy? I've never heard of that word before." So crazy!! I hadn't even thought twice while making the page that "Nummy" might not be a word!! It just popped into my head and I put it in.

So, have you heard of "Nummy" before? Or was I really truly making words up? Let me know!!

Study Tips

Study

A lot of times, I have a hard time remembering what I learned at the beginning of the week for the unit exam at the end of the week in school. I will forget a lot of the smaller facts that were in the lesson and have a hard time during the test. However, here are some study tips that will help you, if your like me, to remember what you had learned!

Chew gum - studies prove that for some people, chewing gum helps them concentrate better.

Lotion - Put on a certain type of lotion while your learning about the topic that you will later have a quiz on. Once the quiz comes, apply the same type of lotion and you will be more likely to remember what you learned!

Take Notes - this one is pretty self explanatory, but never underestimate it! Spend a while reviewing all of the notes you took before the quiz.

Take Time - Take time to really study, spend an hour or two every night not doing your homework but just reviewing what you learned that day. This is one that a lot people, including myself, don't spend time doing, however, it is important!

Hopefully these four tips will help you get better grades in school! Good luck!

I'm Switching.

Fragola

Have you noticed that my blog's url has nothing to do with my blog? Teenfashiondesign.blogspot.com is the url address, while the blog is full of teen product reviews and other things that teens would like, it really isn't related to fashion design, right?

So, after some contemplation and waiting I have decided to switch my blogs url name. Everything on my blog will be the same, it will still show up in your blogger following list, in fact, nothing will change for you if your are following my blog either from the follow button or via RSS feed. However, if you have my blog bookmarked sadly, it won't show up anymore :(

I am planning on switching the url to:

http://outofthenotebook.blogspot.com
OR
http://intotheblog.blogspot.com

Which one do you like better? Which one suits my blog better? Is one easier to remember than the other?

Also, after it switches, for everyone who has my button, it would be absolutely wonderful if you could switch the link! Thanks a million :)

The One, The Only, THE IsaBelt!

Have you ever needed a new belt but could not seem to find one because they were all to clunky, to big, to small, or not the right color? When then, I'm sure you'd like the Isa-Belt!

I love these! They aren't bulky at all and are very unnoticeable. Plus, they are cute, especially the ladybug one! One thing that you must remember when purchasing and using your Isa-Belt is that it does NOT adjust like a bra strap does, be sure to read the directions on how to adjust them! They are made out of quality plastic and held up well and have not stretched at all after use.

They also have a wide version which is nice if you are looking for a wider belt.

I really like this Isa-Belt and am excited to keep using mine!

Isa-Belt is currently offering a Brest Cancer belt which they are donating part of the money to a Breast Cancer Research center!

Thank you to Isa-Belt for sending me this product to review. This is not a paid review and all opinions expressed are of my own.

**Stay Tuned for an Isa-Belt Giveaway (Hint: comment on this review to get an extra entry!)

Spooktacular Review: Sweet Basill Designs

Sweet Basill's Designs - Etsy Shop

I was excited to receive this adorable door hanger in the mail to review. It is very well constructed and is absolutely cute! It says "Whoos There?" and has an owl on it.

Visit her shop here!

The one thing that I wish was different about it was the size - it would have been great if it could be a couple inches skinnier because whenever I shut my door, it would bang into the side and stop the door from being shut. Otherwise, the hanger is wonderful! It has held up nicely.

Another great thing about her shop is that she usually ships withing 24 hours.

Another great thing about her shop are the great prices! And if your looking for something special and can't find it in her shop, she takes custom orders!

Sweet Basill's Designs has a lot of adorable products that I would love to adorn my room with!

Ooh La La Boutique Tags

This Paris styled door hanger is right up my alley!

And isn't this "Hoo To You" gift bag tag perfect for halloween?

And a "Wicked Banner" to adorn your house with this season!

Be sure to check out her shop here!

Thank you to SweetBasill'sDesigns who kindly sent me this product to review. This is not a paid review and all opinions expressed are of my own. Enjoy!
