For a Squeaky Clean Feel!

http://www.consumersearch.com/files/images/products/Spinbrush_Pro.jpg

My brother and my Mom both have an electronic toothbrush...I have wanted one for a while now but they can be oh so pricey! However, I found out about Spinbrush, and got in contact with them, and they offered to send me a toothbrush for myself as well as a child toothbrush!

As soon as I got my toothbrush in the mail, I tried it out! It felt massaging and like it was really doing the work. Unlike my regular ole toothbrush. It even felt like I was less likely to hit my gums, which I have problems with for my regular toothbrush. I really like my Spinbrush and am glad that I got the chance to review it!

I thought that the brush size was nice, however, I did feel like the toothbrush part that you hold on to was a bit bulky, this seems to be true for the kids toothbrush as well. Another nice thing about the Spinbrush is that it is cheaper than a lot of electronic toothbrushes. It sells for less than $20, where as others sell for $50+! Its true that it dosen't have all of the features like other ones, but if you don't want to make a big investment on a toothbrush, but still want to take better care of your teeth, then the Spinbrush would be great.

I did receive two toothbrushes to review, however, that did not affect my opinion in any way

Image from Audrey Hepburn Blog

Happy New Years Eve!! I hope it is filled with joy!

This is what I will wish I will be doing tonight:

And this is the dress that I will wish I will be wearing:

Last Two Images from Steve DePino Photos

Nope, not really, but it will be just as fun! Family is coming over and right now we are snowed in, since we live in the woods and have a very long drive way! And tomorrow we might be driving up to Wisconsin for Christmas with the other side of the family - unless we get the 7 inches that we are supposed to get and the roads are bad! Wish us luck :)

Oh...and the crazy story from yesterday to come....

I wish you a very happy Christmas Eve! Filled with family and fun of course!

Today.

Photo from Aubrey Hepburn

Today has been a crazy crazy crazy day. You would not even believe it. I will tell you about it tommorow once I download the pictures.

Here are a few words that describe my afternoon:

Unbelievable
Aggravating
Impossible
Scared
Cold
Dirty
The eve of Christmas eve
Somewhat satisfied in the end.

For now...I have some more schoolwork to finish before Christmas break. Blech. It would have been done by now...but the little incident....well, it kind of just didn't work out! And look at me! While I should be doing school I'm blogging!

Happy Eve of New Years Eve!!

I usually don't post much Movie related content on my blog, however, I wanted to share this one with you! Tim Burton's adaption of Alice in Wonderland will hit the theaters this summer, and I am so excited! I will be hopefully using my free movie theater tickets that I received last Christmas in a gift game! Its true...I don't go to the movies much!

Take a look at the trailer:

Gorgeous DIY Necklace

I was inspired. I was inspired by all of the blogger's that have made themselves their own jewelry inspired by expensive stores such as the lovely Anthropologie. Then one day, after seeing a Gap add that had a gorgeous ribbon necklace with lotsa beads on it, it dawned on me that today would be the day that I would purchase the materials to make myself a necklace that otherwise would have cost me $40+.

$7 later, I came up with the creation that you see above! And I love the results and am excited to make more in similar styles!!

Have you ever made your own jewelry inspired by the more pricey pieces from Anthropology or another store?

Yoohoo Friends Review + Giveaway

YooHoo And Friends Plush Panda By Aurora

Product: Yoohoo Friends
Rating: 4.5 out of 5
Where to purchase: Here
Disclosure: I was sent two yoohoo friends and a keychain to review. However, all opinions expressed are off my own.

Yoohoo friends are adorable! I opened up the package and was delighted by how cute they are - even cuter than I expected! They have big eyes and short little legs and adorable tails! They aren't just cute stuffed animals though, they replicate real life exotic animals such as the Fennec Fox, Bush Baby Monkey and the Lemur. They sell loads of different types of Yohoo and Friends, 30 different types are on their website!

Here are two of my favorites:

StuffedSafari.com is the website were you can purchase these little fellas online, under the Yoohoo and Friends sections. However, Stuffed Safari also has plenty of other adorable animal friends......

Walton- 13

I LOVE their barn yard and aquatic stuffed animals!

Now..back to the Yoohoos!

Yoohoo and Friends also has an online area for kids to become a member of. There are a few different areas, My shop, My room, Yoohoo and Friends, Community, and Playground. The only problem I see with this is that is such a similar idea to Webkinz. However, if your kids aren't interested in Webkinz but still want a play to play with their stuffed animals online, it would be perfect!
YooHoo And Friends Plush Sugar Glider By Aurora
One thing that I noticed with the Yoohoo and Friends keychain was that the snap was very good quality. It is quite sturdy and doesn't feel like it would break easily.

The Yohoo and Friends would make a great Christmas stocking stuffer, wouldn't they? Well, here's your chance to win a free random Yoohoo and a Yoohoo keychain! And I'm going to make this one easy for you....

All you have to do to enter is create a post on this contest on your blog and leave a link in the comments!

If you don't have a blog, you may Tweet the link or Facebook about the contest!

Happy Holidays and Good luck!

Contest is online open to United States mailing addresses, sorry!
Contest ends on December 15th!

How am I giving back this Christmas?

Two years ago a friend and I had a dream...

....The dream was to knit enough baby and preemie hats to keep all of the newborns in local hospitals warm this Winter. Our dream began to evolve into something so much more. Monthly knitting lessons began, we taught other girls how to knit baby hats on the knifty knitter, teaching them not only how to knit, but to explore there creativity. Soon enough, we had started a wonderful charity which was called "Hats of Love." The first Christmas our six girls, some under the age of 13 and some parents, we had knitted close to 200 baby hats to donate to our local hospital. This all started from two girls who had a dream to help out.

Every year we are expanding. In fact, we have branched out to two different organizations in two different counties. Our long term goal? To make baby hats for babies in developing countries. Our short term goal meant to be filled by this Christmas? 300 baby hats for the Childrens Hospital in the city. You see, the holiday's aren't just for getting - they are for giving as well.

Tell how you are giving this Christmas and be entered to win here!
In fact, every pair of soft soles purchase you make from Robeez through December 23rd - they will donate a pair to K.I.D.S! My favorite are these!

Unique Christmas Trees

Tis the season for Christmas Trees! There are so many unique ideas and I have seen a few trees that have swayed from the traditional path, but still look lovely! Take a peek:

Pink Christmas Tree

I will admit - I usually think pink Christmas trees are somewhat cheesy, however, for some reason it "works" nicely in this room! From Making it Lovely

Why not a Christmas Tree out of ornaments? Found via automatism

A stick tree instead of a traditional Christmas tree! Again, it really works for this room! And it is very unique! The next picture is a view of it during night:

See it reflecting on the ceiling? This tree is from Made By Girl

This is lovely....

A very green and original Christmas tree! Plus - I love the purple! LotusHaus Blog

Which tree is your favorite? I think the stick tree might be mine!

Vintage Charm Outfit #1

The holidays call for a lot of different outfit plannings for parties, work, family events, and just everyday things. I am here to help you out. Today I have put together a cute little vintage outfit - perfect for an outing!

I love this dress from Ruche, it is a classic. The shoes are also adorable and are from Modcloth. Imagine walking into work wearing this lovely outfit, or maybe to a somewhat causal party.

To make it a little more Winter friendly, you could add this sweater also from Modcloth:

Broken Lap Top :(

Looking for the Seahorse necklace giveaway? Enter here!

Lately you may have noticed the lack of posts....I did the yoga review the other day but that is the first in a while. The reason? Well, my school lap top that I use for blogging and that has hundreds of pictures and bookmarks on it, decided that it was time to die. You see, this lap top has been through many different students homes, so I was not the first. We called in to school asking about it, and they said it was so old it wasn't even covered by warranty anymore! Ha! So, that is one good reason for my lack of posts. However, I am being sent a new lap top and it should be here today! All I know about it is that it should be brand new instead of student used and it will be an HP (I was hoping for an Apple but thats ok!). So my blogging will hopefully return to normal in no time, thanks for your patience!
