Been Away...

Source

Wondering where I've been? Maybe not - or maybe so?

I've been gone this long while because I've been away at county fair all week! Showing horse, dog, photography, fashion revue, and keeping crazy busy! I don't think there was hardly one moment where I wasn't doing anything! There were so many early mornings...and super late nights taking care of the horses and wandering around the fair, and of course, riding all day! It went well though, and I had a lot of fun! I was especially happy with my placings for Fashion Revue, Clothes you construct, which I won Grand Overall in, Dog were we won grand in obediance, Grand in 4 dog team, and reserve champ in jumpers, and in Photography which is one of the most competitive non animal exhibit where I won Grand overall! So I was extremely excited about all of that! I also had a lot of fun in horse this year!

Have you been noticing all of the Fall fashions and ad campaigns popping up? At first I was in denial, but I'm starting to get excited for fall! Especially since I won't have to endear the frightening cold Winter that usually follows since I will be going down south. JCrew's line is gorgeous, as well as Down East Basics, I'm also looking forward to seeing with Anthropologie comes up with!

These are both from the JCrew fall 2010 Lookbook:

I've been noticing that Taffeta materials and lots of sparkly and glam seem to be "in" this autumn!

Are you looking forward to Autumn? What are you looking forward to wearing?

Hatley ~ Review

Hatley is a wonderful online shop that is full of great gifts, clothes, and more. Hatley is perfect for the country person that loves horses, dogs, or any other farm animals! Their products are high quality and they have so many options.

I love the idea of cozy'ing up in these pajamas! Perfect for the horse lover!

They also have a line of adorable gift and kitchen products! And they have the most fun aprons! I would love an apron like this! It would make cooking at the cabin that much more fun!

I was sent the adorable Horses Woman's Rain boots to review and I absolutely LOVE them! They are so much fun to tromp around in! Especially in the springtime because the pastures get so muddy and scooping manure would be tricky without a good pair of boots.

The quality of these are wonderful and they fit true to size. The colors are great as well. A lot of rain boots I have found will easily break when walking in thick mud - but these haven't! Shows again what great quality Hatley is!

Hatley also has an adorable line of kids stuff, which would be so perfect for birthday gifts!

Overall, Hatley is a great shop full of adorable, high quality outdoors inspired clothing and gifts!

I was sent a pair of rain boots free of charge to review and give my honest opinion on. All opinions expressed are of my own.

I love the idea of mysteriously entering a masquerade ball with a beautiful gown and a mask that makes people wonder who is behind it. Don't you?

Venetian Masks has so many gorgeous masks that would be perfect for either a masquerade ball, or for decoration in your home - they are also beautiful in photography!

Columbina Gold 1/2 Macram Crackle Stick

There are so many gorgeous masks to chose from, but I think this one might be my favorite! I love the details put into it and how it looks so delicate.

One other thing that you must check out on the Venetian Masks website are the Venetian Face masks! The feathers are stunning!

Venetian Masks are made of high quality material and are stunning because of the fine materials used and the detail put into them! Another great thing about Venetian Masks is that they are a family owned business, which is always nice!

These masks are stunning for so many different occasions and can be used after the event! Wear them to a Masquerade Ball or use them to decorate! Either way, Venetian Masks has a great selection!

Marie Antoinette

http://moonlitgarden.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/marie-antoinette-costume.jpg

I think Marie Antoinette may be one of my favorite historical figures. Though she was disliked by many, and I'm sure still is, I admire her for what she did do.

She didn't get worried easily. She stayed calm in a tough situation. She tried to keep the relationship with her husband good, even though there was no spark. She went against common courtesy and rode horses - in breeches, which was unheard of during her time. She loved her children. So many looked down upon her, which lead to her prosecution, but little did they realize her true self. She was married, not out of choice, at the age of 14!

Have you seen the Marie Antoinette movie? Its one of my favorites.

The colors and costumes in this movie are stunning! You just keep wanting more! Have you watched the movie?

I started my Marie Antoinette crazy when I read "The Bad Queen" a book telling Marie Antoinette's story from her side.

What historical figure do you look up to?

For Pimply Skin ~ Good for You Girls

source

Some teens are blessed with blemish free skin. Most aren't however.

I have tried many different pimple products from stores like Walmart or Target, but they haven't been effective. So when I received the Good For You Girls kit and the Blemish Wash for the first time, I wasn't sure how well it would work. However, I was so surprised because it works like...well, how I described it to my friend was "like magic!"

The kit includes Gel Cleanser, Refreshing toner, and Oil Free moisturizer. All products work great and don't take long to apply. I love that a moisturizer is included in the kit because my face gets dried out easily and has before with different types of pimple juice. Good for you Girls not only gets rid of pimples, but gives your face a soft, healthy, glow to it!

One of my favorite things about Good for You Girls (other than that it works great!) is that it is full of natural ingredients rather than yucky pesticides that are in store bought products, plus Good for you Girls doesn't dry your skin out!

My skin is very sensitive and for about one week late winter/early spring, whenever I used either Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner or Good for you Girls, my skin would get all rashy, but that quickly went away and I don't have to worry anymore.

Good for you Girls is one of my favorite refreshing face products and suggest them to any teen.

Thanks to Good for you Girls for providing me a kit and a moisturizer to help make this review possible. All opinions expressed are of my own.
