Winter coats are coming out!

Source unknown

It's fall - autumn - back to school, leaves are starting to change colors and pretty soon everybody will be raking them up into piles and sighing and laughing at the same time as their kiddos make them fly everywhere!

With fall comes winter jackets, why not find a cute coat to wear that nobody else has? Here are some of my favorites.

Pollyanna Coat

In the Navy Dress

Is this not the most adorable coat?! I think the big bow makes it. I would buy this so fast if yellowish mustard was a good color on me! I also imagine the In the Navy Dress to go perfectly underneath the coat!

Forest for the Trees Jacket in Plum

I love this jacket from Modcloth because it is more casual. Its perfect for a stroll in the park, or just throwing on with a pair of jeans!

Delias
Everybody needs a cute black wool jacket! I have actually owned this one for a year and just love it! It fits fabulously and keeps you warm. Plus its adorable! Super cute with red accents as well (scarf or a red dress underneath!)

What is your favorite place to shop for a autumn/winter coat?

Back to school with Boost Mobile

Picture: Uknown - please leave comment if you know!
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boost Mobile. All opinions are 100% mine.

Schools has started. Teens are waking up at crazy hours to hop on the bus and spend the day going from class to class. Afterwards, many are in school sports - swimming, tennis, track, etc. However, sometimes matches last longer than planned or get done sooner than thought! In which case, a cell phone can come in handy so your kiddo dosen't have to wait in the school halls for an extra hour or make you wait if it goes late!

There are so many situations were a cell phone would be handy - I know that before I owned one, while living at the county fair for a week (showing horses) I borrowed my friends phones about a hundred times, they probably got sick of me asking them for theirs! However, parents a lot of times don't want to pay for a long term plan for their teens cell phones, especially if they feel they only need one during the school year or whil their away at camp during the summer. That's were the Boost Mobile comes into play!

The Boost Mobile is a great cell phone because not only do they have loads of different quality cell phones to choose from, but you aren't being tied to a contract, so you have flexibility. Every month that you want your Boost Mobile cell phone to be active, you just Re-Boost it easily by one of their three methods - pay online, pay in person, or pay by phone. All of these are very easy ways to reboost your phone and don't take a lot of time to do!

Another good thing about Reboosting your cell phone is that you can use your debit/credit card, which is a great way to do it. Also, if you want to keep your cell phone always active and not have to worry about making monthly payments, you can always sign up for the worry free automatic payments which are very nice!

One thing I like about Boost Mobile phones and the plan is that you can easily update your social programs. I can't do that on my current cell phone, but I sure would love to! Imagine updating your Facebook or Twitter right after stepping of the plane in Tahiti.....bliss! With boost mobile, they have the option of unlimted Facebook connection for one price a month.

I'm drooling over their Blackberry curve 8330 smartphone! I would love to have a blackberry! Theirs has email access, enhanced web browser, MP3 player, digital camera, ringtones and more! The Blackberry Monthly Unlimited plan isn't bad either. Its only $60 for a month of Unlimited talk, unlimited texting, unlimited web, unlimited email, and unlimited 411 and IM! Not bad, considering I'm paying $5 for JUST 250 texts - crazy.......

.....So be sure to check out Boost Mobile, as they have such great options for either a teen phone or yourself!

{Easy lunch recipe for tweens and teens}

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Boxed soup. Hot pockets. Cardboard pizza. After so many times being home alone, it's easy to get sick of these very common fast lunch fixes that teens eat when they are home a lone, they are easy, but......not the healthiest and you for sure get sick of them after eating them so many times!

Heres a great alternate for when you, or your teen, is home a lone for lunch!

Have them make ravioli, it's quick, and easy, and just as delicious!

1. Purchase a bag of frozen ravioli from the grocery store

2. Boil water with lid on

3. When waters boiling, take lid of and put in however many raviolis you want to eat

4. After 3 or so minutes of the raviolis cooking, usually the raviolis float to the top, drain the water

5. Stir in delicious sauce and sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top

6. Enjoy!

These also taste great to make a head of time and pack for lunches to reheat at school! They taste just as good reheated!

1234 ~ Stop Motion and State FR

Joanna Newsom

I have been crazy busy these past couple of weeks - I've been slacking on blogging, but I needed some time of to get rejuvenated and spend those last couple of weeeks of Summer before back to school (starts on Tuesday!) begins.

One big eventful thing that's happened is I went to State for my Fashion Revue dress that I sewed - there were 40 girls that had placed top in their counties - all competing with the best of the state in 4H Fashion Revue. Out of the 40, only 3 placed - and honestly, could not believe it when they called my name as one of the winners!! The competition at state is so intense, I never thought that I would ever place at State!

State Fashion Revue winners - I'm in the middle wearing the blue dress that I sewed.

I found this Stop Motion today, it is amazing! It is the best stop motion I've seen yet, and it has inspired me to make one of my own - I'm trying to figure out the music I'm going to use for it right now! This stop motion is just perfect - in every way. The only bad part is when it ends!
