My favorite Shoes

I have to say, I never used to give much thought to my shoes. They weren't my favorite things to shop for, I liked cute shoes, but was never excited about them. That changed this year....I discovered some pretty amazing shoes, starting with my glitter oxfords....

Gold glitter oxfords. Spotted right before Christmas in the Urban Outfitters catalog last Winter. Right away, I loved them, and was excited to find them wrapped up beautifully under the tree! These lovelies have served me well and go with so many things and are very comfy! Love, love, love!

I LOVE Oxfords. They are the most comfortable, stylish, wearables shoes, ever! This pair from BP by Nordstroms are definitely one of my favorites! I wear them so much (except when it's raining) and they are so comfortable! And they come with two different color ribbons. And there are different colors. Perfection!

A pair of cheap ballet shoes from Payless do no harm and satisfy my longing to be a ballerina - plus they are awfully cute with a lot of outfits!

I actually was sent these Puma Sneakerina's to let you guys know about them, oh man, they are amazing! I loved Puma before, but after having these for a few months and wearing them like crazy, I think I might be Pumas biggest fan. They are the most comfortable brand of shoes that I have ever worn. And I'm always getting compliments on them!

Source Unknown, however they are Joules Wellies, I am not sure where to find this color however.

And on my wishlist......! Next Christmas maybe? What are your favorite shoes?

Email and Connections

Thank you to Yahoo! Mail for sponsoring this post about staying connected. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

I love how email can connect you with people all across the world. A few typed words and a click of the button and your email can be sent to...anyone. The opportunities that can be given to anyone through email is truly amazing.

I truly think that if you want to run a business or blog, online or not, email is necessary! My parents, grandparents, brother and I were celebrating Fathers Day at a Flea market today and there was a man and his son that have a plant business selling. We talked to them for a while and were asking them about a plant my Mom has that grows like crazy but that we haven't been able to identify. She asked him if he had an email and he said no! I was so surprised. It is just a necessity to reach the full potential that you can with a business!

I have asked questions, found opportunities, read interesting articles, found new blogs, and connected with some amazing people through emails!

Another thing that I love email for - staying in touch! Spending the winter in California can indeed be challenging, not being able to see your friends and family often. I sent emails back and forth between my best friend and I almost everyday, sometimes more!

Another thing I love about email - when I come across a new blog that I love, I like to subscribe via email right away so it doesn't get lost in my bookmarks or mind and forgotten about. By subscribing, I am always reminded to read it!

What are your favorite aspects about having an email account? Why do you think it's important? Do you have any funny email story's? I would love to hear them!

I love this Yahoo mail video....because of it's creativity! Adorable!

Swim the Tides!

I was so sad when I clicked over to Anthro today too find the swimsuit (black with white - reminded be of vintage barbie) that I've been so wishing for sold out! So sad! However, the other suits that I have really liked this year are from Marysia. So cute! The pastel colors, the flattering fits, and the ruffles! The only thing I wish was different? The prices. And aren't the children's swimsuits just darling?

All images and suits from Marysia

Also....I entered this great giveaway over at Lanalou Style and thought I'd share :) Enjoy!
