This Girl Katie Herzig you must Hear

There are some people that illuminate a brilliance in what they do - but that no one knows about.  Why is that?  I am here to share with you one of these wonderfully talented people that I so happily discovered years ago - but someone that you probably don't know the name of yourself (though you might know her music...)

I pronounce the ever lovely...Katie Herzig!

You've heard her songs in Pretty Little Liars, Greys Anatomy, Lipstick Jungle, and One Tree Hill and TINKERBELL!  Yes that's right...Tinkerbell!  You've also heard her songs in the cutesy playlists of cutesy shops...and the Red Lobster play list as well!

Three Words to describe Katie Herzig's Style:  Bouncy, Catchy, Deeper than Words

Listen when you want to:  Feel hyper/happier/bouncier and when you want a song that doesn't sing about the perils or sexiness of love.

I honestly wonder why this girls songs aren't on the radio yet.  Like what is wrong with you IHeartRadio?

Plus...she is releasing a new album called "Walk Through Walls" which I can hardly wait for!  Listen up to the first song release of her new album here ;)

Which artists/entrepreneurs/amazing people in general that makes you wonder why the rest of the world doesn't know about them?  Please Enlighten us in the Comments below!

Places to Be: Nightmares Fear Factory

Every year our counties 4-H program hosts a haunted house.  I think some of my favorite moments of being in 4H happened here, putting together the house and carnival, and organizing it.  Being the county ambassador for many years, I always oversaw the progress and offered my input.  We had some good years, but I was never able to have a strong enough leverage (being a youth) to really implement mine and the other ambassadors visions.

I just recently found out about the Nightmares Fear Factory in Niagra Falls and oh my goodness, how I would love to go!  I think to truly scare someone you have to reach to an inner psychological level, you can't just have people pop out here and there, there must be a play on emotions and ones brain - and I definitely feel like Nightmares Fear Factory has accomplished this.

Plus - They take photos of everyone the moment that they get scared...so much better than rollercoaster snaps!
