Using Liquid Eyeliner

Recently I have added one more step to my morning makeup routine. Black Liquid eyeliner! I haven't been able to stop using it since I've started. I love it! It gives me that little bit bolder and vintage look that I love and it is a nice contrast against my pale skin and blonde hair.

Most of my friends shy away from liquid eyeliner because they think it's a lot more difficult to put on than regular eyeliner. At first, it is terrible to learn how to put it on and you end up wiping of and redoing it a few times which possibly leads to giving up for the day when your eyes start turning red from trying to get it right, but just try again the next day and you'll begin to get the hang of it! Just remember to not try it out for the first time right before your heading out!

The trick that I've found is to really shake the bottle to get a lot of eyeliner on the brush before you start applying, and when you begin to apply it, start in the middle of your eye and kind of twist the brush on it's side and sweep it to the outside. And then use a tiny bit and brush from the bottom corner of the inside of your eye up to the rest of the liner. The key is to start of not very thick with the eyeliner and if you need to, add more to make it look thicker.

I also love to add a little sweep on the corners to add a bit of a cat eye!

Another fun way to change up your morning makeup routine is to use a sparkle liquid eyeliner. It's perfect for the holidays! I have a bottle of purple sparkle eyeliner, and I love it! It gives the perfect pop and is really unique! I admit. I'm addicted.

Next on my list? Gold sparkle liquid liner. Yes please!
