And It's WHITE!

Image taken by Bonnie Tsang

What have I been working on all day you ask? Well.....if you must.....

My room is now WHITE! Say good bye to purple, out with the old in with the new. Crisp, fresh, clean, WHITE! And I love it. You might remember when I was contemplating it last year...

Anyways, now that the walls are white, it's time for decorating! I'm taking a lot of inspiration from a lot of random pops of bright colors, while still being mostly white, with a few bold pieces in black. Confused yet?!

The colors and Bohemian vibe in this room is absolutely stunning! I love the paper flowers hanging off the curtains, and how well they incorporated "stuff!" without it looking cluttery. Beautiful!

Places to Be - Tunnel of Love Ukraine Klevan

Beautiful Train Tree Tunnel

tunnel-of-love-1

Photos Oleg Gordienko

In Klevan, Ukraine sits this gorgeous piece of land that the locals call "The Tunnel of Love." It is an industrial track for a steel mill. The crooked tracks, as Krzstoff says, makes for a "slow, bouncy" ride for travelers, kinda like love itself, sounds perfect to me!

I was scrolling through Wanelo last night, passing time, and I came across the lovely petal dress in the third picture, and had to click through to see who designed it and what other stunning works she has done. The designer of these pieces is Anna Miminoshvili, and they are truly beautiful. When your pieces are not only beautiful, but tell a story and makes the onlooker think, you know that they are truly remarkable.

Glamour Downtown Abbey

August 2011 Vogue UK

Glamorous dresses from the 21st century? Brits? Jane Austen? Perfection? I think yes...

I actually haven't been watching the BBC Downtown Abbey but after seeing all the hype, some lovely photos I'm convinced that I will have to catch up! I love Jane Austen remakes! Pride and Prejudice is still my favorite however!

Dress 1 and 2: Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 Collection Dress 3: Ralph Lauren Fall 2011 Collection

Every one of these dresses are stunning. I can't choose a favorite, they are all so lovely. I am in love with the interesting cut of the first dress, the golden color of the skirt in the second, and the classic and very much sophisticated style of the emerald green dress. Are you partial to any of the three or are you like me, not able to choose a favorite?

Ipod Cracks Under Warrenty

Apple iPod touch (4th Generation) NEWEST MODEL

So, I bought my Ipod Touch 4Th Generation about a month and a half ago, and a couple weeks ago, I was sitting in the local coffee shop, looked down at it, and saw what looked like a little piece of hair going from the middle of the top to about a quarter of the way down on the right side. I swiped my finger across it to shoe it away, but guess what?! It wasn't a piece of hair. It was a crack.

Ouch. That's an expensive thing to get a crack in..and not too cheap to repair it.

And then I found a loophole....Ipod Touch 4Th Generation are covered under warranty for the first year. So I called up the Apple store and they told me "9 out of 10 times the crack is not covered under warranty because it's not a manufacturer defect." Well...

...I took my Ipod into the Apple store on Monday, he looked at the crack and said because it wasn't a spider crack, it was covered under warranty! So that was my excitement for the day! So, if your Ipod gets a crack in it, and it is not a spider crack, be sure to remember that!
